In the entertainment industry, numerous Nigerian Artists have followed the trend of inking different tattoos on their bodies. Some of the tattoos range from objects, animals, inscriptions or even portraits/pictures of themselves and loved ones and can have up to like 10 tattoos.

The “Stand Strong” vocalist entered the Nigerian music industry with a sleeve of tattoos. He has tattoos on his neck, arms, and across his chest on his back. In an interview, Davido revealed that he hid his tattoos from his father for almost a year but when his father found out, he almost had a heart attack.

The baby-faced Afro-pop superstar is renowned for the tattoos on his forearms; he has since added his bicep and underarm to the collection. On his left hand is a design of a lion’s face, and on his right hand is etched the famous image of Fela.

For the longest time, Tiwa rocked a tattoo on her arm right arm that stopped right around her shoulder. Then, in the past year, she made the decision to finish the tattoo by extending it all the way up her arm to create a full sleeve.

Oritse Femi came into the mainstream attention with his hit single “double wahala” in 2013 which was a remix of Fela Kuti’s original song. The Afrobeat singer has the word ‘International’ ascribed across his chest and he has several other inks on his body.
He has the Chinese language written on his forearm and the singer is indeed engrossed in Westernization.
